O3 Labs Community Announcement

Dear O3ers, starting today, we are going to shift the focus of our community communication to Discord. Before today, Telegram was the main channel for users to communicate, obtain information, and ask questions about products, and Discord was mainly used to build small language communities and conduct product testing. But Telegram had many pitfalls which led to scammers running rampant impersonating O3 Swap officials and to make links that were created to fake official activities.

Therefore, after careful consideration by the O3 Labs team, we have decided:

1. The place for community and official company communication will be within our ‘O3 Swap’ Discord channel due to its sophistication in creating and maintaining a fruitful community environment.

2. To establish a special channel called “O3 Board”, which is only provided to users who are the most active in the community and the most helpful to our product, and are willing to accompany us to grow along the way. This is also the embryonic form of the forthcoming O3 DAO.

3. We will not provide services about user support and product answering on Telegram, but only announce project progress in that space.

4. When Discord users reach a certain number, the Telegram links will be removed from official channels such as O3 Labs’ official website.

5. For all product questions, users can join Discord to ask questions.

O3 Board: O3 board is an exclusive channel for the most active and helpful community members who are willing to accompany us on our journey. In this channel, users can directly communicate with our product, technical, and operational developers.

International: We now have language channels in 13 countries, which are Chinese, Russian, Portuguese, Korean, Japanese, Spanish, Turkish, Arabic, Swahili, German, Italian and Indian. You can choose to join according to your language usage habits. We have support ambassadors for China, Korea, Japan, Spanish, Turkish, Arabic, German, Swahili, Italian and Indian.

Off-Topic: This will be an open chat for users to converse with one another, but remember to follow the community rules.

Attention to Discord users

1. Any “O3 Labs official” who PMs you first is a liar;

2. Do not click on any links sent by strangers as it is very likely to be fraudulent and cheat you out of your money;

3. Any official event and plan will be released on the official Twitter, so please go check there if you have any doubt about an event run by O3.
